It was very difficult saying goodbye this morning. I had experienced an incredible stay at an incredibly special bed-and-breakfast. It was exceptional, and so are Jeff and Janine. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived, and it seemed like the other guests, Ryan and Sarah, Jerry and John, and Janine’s relatives Glenn and his wife Sam, did too. We all got along great and shared many good stories about our individual adventures. There were no couch potatoes here.
What I liked about Jeff was his tenacity. He is a very experienced guide and it showed on summit day. Without him, there is no way I would have found the summit in the weather we had. He was terrific.
Janine is also incredible but in different ways. She keeps a half-dozen plates in the air, and they are all spinning. She runs a tight ship, in other words. And nothing gets by her. She is the most gracious and friendly host you will ever have. She and Jeff make a terrific team. I am so grateful that I met them. Their B&B is the Jindabyne Bed and Breakfast in Moonbah, NSW.
